In TalentHR, Admins and HR Managers can edit any employee's information.
To edit an employee's profile:
Sign in to your TalentHR account as an Admin or an HR Manager, go to People (1) and open an employee's profile.
| Note: Alternatively, use the search field (2) at the top of your dashboard to locate the employee. |
An employee’s profile will show the following information regardless of the tab selected:
- Profile image
- Department
- Division
- Location
- Contact details (phone and email)
- Manager
To change any of this information, hover over it and click the pencil (2) icon.
Below this, you can see:
- Team: The employee's direct reports.
- Peers: People at the same level as this employee in the org chart.
In addition, the employee's user profile includes the following tabs (4):
A. Personal
Displays an employee’s basic information, contact information, and their emergency contact.
B. Education
Optional. If added, the required fields are: institution, department, education level, and graduation date.
C. Job
Edit information related to your employee’s Manager, employment status, job information, and/or compensation.
D. Documents
Review existing documents, or add documents to your employee’s profile.
- Accepted file formats are: .png, .jpeg, .jpg, .gif, .svg, .txt, .csv, .pdf, .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, .odp, .ods, and .odt.
- Maximum supported file size is 30MB.

E. Tasks
Review any onboarding/offboarding or general tasks assigned to your employee.
Find incomplete tasks in the Pending tab, and finished tasks under the Completed tab.
F. Time off
Here you can:
- Review your employee’s time off history.
- Edit your employee’s available time off budgets.
- Book pre-approved time off for the employee.
- Cancel approved time off.
G. Training
Review and manage your employee's TalentLMS training, if the TalentHR - TalentLMS integration has been enabled.

H. Performance
Review and manage your employee's performance reviews.

I. Assets
See all your employee's currently assigned assets, whether they are inventory or memberships and assign assets to them directly from this page, or remove assets, if necessary.
