You can rehire employees who were previously marked as terminated. This restores their profile, assigns them a new employment period, and optionally triggers onboarding tasks.
To find a terminated employee:
1. Sign in to your TalentHR account as an Admin or an HR Manager, and go to People (1).
2. Click the Filters (2) icon.
3. In the Status section, clear (3) all selected filters
4. Check Terminated (4).

Note: Alternatively, you can search for a terminated employee by name or email using the Search (5) bar at the top of your dashboard. |
Click the employee’s name to open their profile.
To rehire the employee:
1. In the terminated employee’s profile, click Actions (1) below the employee’s profile image.
2. Select Rehire (2).
3. In the confirmation window, fill in the following fields (3):
- Date (rehire date)
- Employment status
- Manager
- Optionally, fill in job details such as Location, Division, and Department.
4. (Optional) Check Proceed with the onboarding process (4) if you'd like to assign onboarding tasks.
5. (Optional) Check Don’t send invitation email (5) if you want to rehire the employee without notifying them immediately.

6. Click Confirm (6) to complete the process.
Once confirmed, the employee will be active again and visible in your main employee list with their updated employment details.
