The Hires/Leaves Report helps Admins and HR Managers monitor employee growth and attrition across their organization.
It provides a month-by-month overview of hires and departures, along with an automatically calculated attrition rate.
To access the report:
1. Sign in to your TalentHR account as an Admin or an HR Manager and go to Reports (1).
2. Select Hires/Leaves (2).
At the top of the page, you can filter (3) by:
- Location
- Division
- Department
- Period (e.g., year)
What’s included in the report?
The report displays the following charts and data:
A. Hires and Leaves bar chart
The Hires/Leaves chart (4) displays the number of employees who were hired (blue bars) and who left (red bars) during each month of the selected period.
This helps you quickly identify:
- Recruitment activity
- Spikes in turnover
B. Attrition rate (%) chart
This Attrition rate chart (5) shows the monthly attrition rate as a percentage. The attrition rate is calculated automatically, based on the number of employee departures in relation to the total headcount for each month.
This helps you monitor and respond to turnover trends over time.
C. Detailed list view
Scroll down below the charts. At the bottom of the page, you’ll see a chronological list of all hires and leaves (6) for the selected period. Each entry includes:
- Employee name
- Date of hire or departure
- Type (Hire or Leave)
The Type is color-coded for quick scanning:
- Hire: Blue
- Leave: Red
Exporting the Hires/Leaves report
Click the Export (7) button to download an Excel file containing all entries for the selected period.
The exported file (8) includes:
- Name
- Date
- Type (Hire or Leave)
- Job title
- Division
- Department
- Location
