TalentHR supports folder organization for company files. Folders help you categorize and manage your files more efficiently, ensuring easy access and improved workflow.
To upload company files:
1. Log in to your TalentHR account as an Admin or an HR Manager and go to Files (1).
2. Click Upload and then, drag and drop files from your computer into the designated area, or click Browse (2) to select files manually.
Once uploaded, files will appear in the list, displaying their upload dates.
3. For each file, choose between Public or Private visibility (3):
- Public: Visible to all employees.
- Private: Restricted to the Admin(s) and HR Manager(s).
4. Click the star icon (4) next to a company file to make it visible on the dashboard for quick access.

To organize your company files into folders:
1. In the Files page, click on New folder (1).
2. Enter a name for the folder (2) that reflects its content or purpose and click Save.
3. Set the folder's visibility to Public or Private as required (3).
4. Select the files you wish to organize by checking the boxes next to their names (4).
5. Click on the Move (5) option.
6. Choose the desired folder from the list and then, click Move (6) once more.
Note: Delete folders at any time, by clicking on the relevant options next to the folder name. |
Best Practices
- Consistent naming conventions: Use clear and consistent names for folders and company files. Hover over a file’s or a folder’s name and click on the pencil icon that will appear, to quickly rename it!
- Regular updates: Periodically review and update your document organization to accommodate new files and remove outdated ones.
- Access control: Regularly audit document and folder visibility settings to ensure sensitive information is accessible only to authorized personnel.
