When you add a new employee to your TalentHR domain, you will need to define that employee’s Manager.
The only exception is this:
In case you've selected This person is the head of the org. (1) under the Manager field while adding an employee to the system. This will make the new employee the "root", or head of your organizational chart. The head of the organization does not have a Manager.
| Note: The head of your org chart cannot be deleted. If you're an HR Manager or the Admin, and you wish to delete the head of the org chart from TalentHR, then you will need to assign them with a Manager first. This will change the org chart's structure and allow you to remove their profile. To assign a Manager to the head of your org chart, open the head's profile and go to their Job tab. |
