Edit manual budgets for all types of time off, either for all employees in your organization at once, or for a specific employee.
To edit time off budgets:
1. Sign in to your TalentHR account as an Admin or an HR Manager, and go to Settings > Time off (1).
2. Select the Budget (2) tab.
3. Choose the year (3) you wish to edit the available time off budgets for.
4. You can see every member of your organization listed. Use the + and - (4) buttons under the target type of time off to change its allocated budget for all employees.
| Note: The number of days allotted to time off types under Settings > Time off > Types will automatically apply to new hires as their default budgets. If you wish to work with accrual policies for time off instead, you might want to remove existing (manual) budgets while building your policies. Accrued time off can't be edited, while manual budgets are editable. Read here for more information. |
5. (Optional) Filter your employee list by location, division, or department before increasing or reducing their time off budgets, or search for a specific employee by name (5).
6. To increase or reduce time off budgets for individual employees, use the + and - (6) buttons next to the specific employee (for each type of time off).
| Note: In case you want to add to or remove less than an entire day from an employee’s budget, select and type directly into the respective field (7) of the employee’s corresponding type of time off. Time off budgets can be allotted in decimal formats too, and the lowest fraction the system will accept is 0.001 days. |
