The Progress tab in Workflows lets you monitor the status of each workflow run. You can see how many employees are in progress, completed, or failed, and open each run to review its workflow path.
Note: The Workflows feature is in Beta, and is available to all TalentHR plans. TalentHR portals on the Free and Essential plans can create up to 10 workflows.
To view Workflow progress:
1. Sign in to your TalentHR account as an Admin or an HR Manager, and go to Workflows (1).
2. Click Progress (2).
Each workflow card (3) shows:
- The workflow name.
- The trigger that started the workflow
- The number of runs In progress
- The number of runs Completed
- The number of runs Failed
Note: You can only click a status number if it’s higher than 0.
To view employees under a workflow status:
1. Click a number (1) under In progress, Completed, or Failed.
2. In the pop-up, review the employees listed (2) under that status.
3. Click View (3) next to an employee’s workflow to open the workflow run.
The workflow run opens in a full-page view.
Here, you can:
- View the workflow name (1)
- See the employee (2) the workflow ran for
- Review the current status (3) of the run
- Track completed, in-progress, failed, or expired workflow steps (4)
- Complete (5) eligible workflow actions on behalf of employees when needed.
Workflow step statuses include:
- Completed: The step was completed successfully.
- In progress: The step is still active.
- Expired: The step was not completed within the expected timeframe.
- Failed: The step failed to execute.
Note: When a workflow includes rules/conditions, the workflow path shows which branch was followed.
Manage workflow actions
Depending on the workflow step, Admins and HR Managers may be able to complete an action on behalf of the assigned employee.
For example, if a workflow action remains incomplete, an Admin or HR Manager can open the workflow run, and click the Complete (1) button on the action card.
A confirmation dialog appears. Click Complete (2) to mark the action as completed.
Once completed, the workflow continues according to its configured path.
Note: The workflow progress view is read-only. To make changes to a workflow, go back to the Workflows page and edit the workflow itself.
Note: If you delete a Workflow, its progress remains and you can always track it from the Progress tab.
